Dear Parents,
It's time to start talking about Christmas! This year our Elementary Christmas Concert will be held Tuesday, Dec. 14th with 2 individual concert times. This is to help lessen the amount of people in the gym at one time and provide better viewing/parking for visitors. It also allows your students to follow their normal breakfast and lunch schedules. Please see the schedule below for your students’ performance time. Remember that this is a full day of school, students are NOT being released early. If your student needs to leave after the concert, you must check them out in the main office so we can inform our food and transportation services.  As always, the concert is free to attend, but donations are welcomed and encouraged :) On the back of this page are some friendly concert etiquette reminders to review with your performers and audience members.  If you have any questions, please contact me in person, by emailing ([email protected]) or call 280-6475. Thank you so much for your support!

Musically yours,

Jen Goodrich

Third and Fourth Grade, 5th Grade Band, 6th Grade Band Concert- 1PM-2:30 PM

Concert Etiquette Reminders:

Please reserve seats closest to the stage for elderly or handicapped guests so everyone can enjoy the performance. We will not allow large group seat saving. So please come early to ensure you have the seat you want.

Parents should keep small children seated with them.  If your child becomes restless or fussy, please move them to the hallway.

PLEASE enter quietly and once you have found a seat, be alert to activity on the stage as the musicians take their place for the concert and quiet down accordingly.

Do not stand or move around while music is being performed. It distracts those around you and may block their view of the stage. If you must leave for any reason, wait until a song is   finished and the audience is applauding.

It is impolite to talk while the music is being performed. Remember, everyone is there to watch their young performer. Be considerate to others by being quiet even when your performer is not on stage.

Make sure that all cell phone notifications are turned off prior to the start of any concert and the flash on cameras are turned off.

Please make sure your young performers are dressed appropriately and nicely.

Remember, everyone is there to watch their young performer. Be considerate to others by staying quiet, and not standing or blocking the view of the stage.
