Early Middle College informational meetings for parents/guardians of interested 9th and 10th grade students are held in early March each year. A second informational meeting is held in September for 10th and 11th graders.

Bark River-Harris currently offers an Early Middle College program in conjunction with Bay de Noc Community college. The deadline to enroll in this program is fall of junior year. This program is designed to provide students with the ability to earn up to 60 transferable credits, an associates degree, a professional or MEMCA certificate, or participate in an apprenticeship from Bay de Noc Community College while in high school.
